INTERNET ORDER INFORMATION
We currently deliver to Bakersfield area ONLY. Orders outside Bakersfield
area can pickup their order at our physical store location. When
placing an internet order, we request two-day's notice for smaller
orders and four days for larger orders (parties, meetings, etc.).
You must place your internet order by 2:30PM to have your orders
ready by the 2nd or 4th day depending on your order quantity. All
orders are prepaid in advance. You may also place your order by
phone or walk-in. If you order by phone, we would accept only VISA/MASTERCARD.
We accept Cash, Check, Visa and Mastercard as forms of payment
for Walk-In orders. So, if you place your 2-day order for on
Monday by 2:30PM, delivery/pick up will be on Wednesday (if ordered
after 2:30PM your order will be ready on Thursday). If you order
on Friday by 2:30PM, your order will be ready by Tuesday (if ordered
after 2:30PM your order will be ready on Wednesday). No deliveries
on weekends at this time. You may schedule a pickup during the
weekends.
You
may also order far in advanced as you would like (5 or more days
in advance). This is most suggested. By doing so, your order
becomes a priority and have a better chance of receiving your goodies
on the day and time you requested. For all pickup orders, we will
contact you to let you know your order is ready. For specially-decorated
or larger cake orders, please visit our physical store at 3825
Ming Ave, Suite B, Bakersfield, CA 93309. We are located inside
Manila Express next to Rent-A-Center in the Ming Plaza Shopping

Also, as you place your internet order, make sure
to leave us a good alternate number in case we cannot reach you at
the other number you entered. You can add any alternate number in
the Special Request box as you proceed through checkout.
PRIVACY INFORMATION
Absolutely no information that you provide to us is shared or disclosed
to anyone that does not work for SweetVelvet.net. Information
we collect such as your e-mail or physical address or both is for
the purpose of informing you any relevant information about our
products, promotions and events. SweetVelvet.net does not sell,
rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected
at our site.
We use industry-standard encryption technologies
when transferring and receiving financial data from our site. In
addition, we have appropriate security measures in place at our
physical facilities to protect against the loss or misuse of information
that we have collected from you. CANCELLATION POLICY
You must contact us by phone within 24 hours from the
time you place your order for 2nd Day Delivery
orders. For larger orders (4th day delivery orders), you must contact
us by phone within 48 hours after placing your order. For advanced
orders, you must contact us by phone within 72 hours before the
order is due ready for pickup or delivery. Do not email or fax
to cancel.
PICKUP INFORMATION
You are responsible for picking
up your order once your order is ready. You will not be refunded.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Uncontrollable events such as weather, traffic, construction, and
other factors can affect the timing of your delivery. Please be
aware that the time quote you receive is simply an estimation of
when we will be able to arrive, and not a guarantee of an exact
delivery time.
Deliveries are made between 8AM and 3PM. If you
need to have deliveries made before or after delivery hours or
at certain times, please contact us at (661) 832-5332 to let
us know or enter the information in our Special Request Box when
placing your internet order. We may be able to make arrangements
with you based on the quantity or your order.
Sweet Velvet Patisserie guarantees delivery only
to the address you specify when ordering, not to the recipient. We
do not take responsibility when given incorrect addresses or recipient
information. (For ex: company has moved; recipient is on vacation,
etc.)
Although we will make every effort to correct any error we find
before delivery, we cannot be responsible for the order once it has
been delivered to the address you have specified. Therefore, please
make sure that you have correct delivery information when ordering,
as we cannot credit you back for these orders.
If you are not home, or answering your phone when
we deliver to you, you will be responsible for picking up your order.
You will not be refunded. ALLERGY INFORMATION
Please be aware that we are NOT a nut-, wheat-, gluten-, dairy-,
soy- and egg-free facility, and that trace amounts of these ingredients
may be present.
